Point estimation of parameters of univariate distributions by method of moments, method of maximum likelihood and method of least squares. Construction of confidence intervals for parameters of normal distribution, construction of large sample confidence interval for parameters of binomial and Poisson distribution. Tests of hypothesis regarding parameters of univariate and bivariate normal distributions, tests of hypothesis regarding parameters of discrete and continuous distributions. Calculation of best critical region and drawing power curve. Nonparametric tests. Other topics as covered in the theory part.
